More often than not I seem to be in a hurry, and my makeup tends to pay the price. However, these occasions are also golden opportunities to challenge myself and see what I can do in very little time. This look came out of one of those moments and I have to say I loved it! It was surprisingly simple, sticking to the nude trend for spring. Except for the thick and slightly winged eyeliner, the rest of my faced remained pretty minimalistic.
The one product that seemed to pull the look together was actually the cheapest of the bunch: a Gosh lip liner. The color was incredibly flattering on me as a nude; since my lips are a bit pigmented, the somewhat beige tones you see in some lip colors these days look very crappy on me. Since I bought this one, I finally nailed it with the right shade (one with more brown than pink or beige). The rest of the products are mostly high end which were what happened to be in my makeup bag. I wonder what would’ve happened had I had a Maybelline Color Tattoo in Turquoise in my purse as well….
